Black Vinyl, All the Way Through
Black windows are one of the most requested looks in new and remodeled homes. Many black vinyl windows get their color from paint or a laminate film. ThruBlack is different: the color runs through the vinyl itself, inside and out, so there is no coating to scratch, peel or wear through.
- Through color vinyl. Truly black inside and out. No paint, no laminate.
- Built to resist fading. After 3,000 hours of QUV weathering tests, the highest color change ViWinTech measured on ThruBlack profiles was 1.48 dE.

Grand Vista Sliding Patio Doors
A drafty patio door that sticks and drags is one of the most common complaints we hear. ViWinTech Grand Vista doors come in three styles, and all of them meet or exceed AAMA and NWWDA standards.
Glass options include Emax, Advanced Emax and Emax 4 Low E, plus gray and bronze tints. Grid choices include flat, contour, simulated divided lites and prairie patterns.

ViWinTech Limited Lifetime Warranty
We would rather you know the details up front. Here is what ViWinTech covers, and the one step most homeowners miss.
- Vinyl: covered against peeling, flaking, chipping, blistering and corrosion.
- Hardware: for the life of replacement windows. Two years on new construction windows and all patio doors.
- Screen frames: covered for the life of the product.
- Glass breakage: included on the 6000 Series (labor not included), optional on other series.
- The warranty covers the original homeowner and does not transfer to a buyer.
- It must be registered within 90 days of installation.
- Painting, staining or altering the vinyl voids the vinyl coverage.
- Acts of nature are excluded from the optional glass breakage coverage.

Who makes ViWinTech windows?
ViWinTech Windows & Doors builds its vinyl windows and patio doors in Paducah, Kentucky. Casey Exteriors installs ViWinTech as our main window line for homes across St. Louis and Jefferson County.
What is the difference between the 1000, 2000 and 6000 Series?
All three are vinyl replacement double hung windows with warm edge glass spacers and Low E glass options. The 2000 Series moves to a deeper 3 1/4 inch frame and a stainless steel spacer system. The 6000 Series adds a fully welded frame and sash, heavy duty weatherstripping, double strength glass, woodgrain interior options and included glass breakage coverage.
Can I get black vinyl windows?
Yes. ViWinTech ThruBlack is black all the way through the vinyl, inside and out, with no paint or laminate. It is available on the 1150 Series window and the Grand Vista Traditional Sliding Door. We will tell you at your estimate whether ThruBlack is the right fit for your openings.
Are ViWinTech windows ENERGY STAR certified?
ViWinTech windows can be built to meet ENERGY STAR requirements in every U.S. region. Whether a specific window qualifies depends on the glass package, so we spec your quote with that in mind.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?
No. The ViWinTech Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the original homeowner and is not transferable. It also has to be registered within 90 days of installation, so make sure that step gets done.
Do you replace patio doors too?
Yes. We install ViWinTech Grand Vista sliding patio doors in Traditional, French and Multitrack styles, including the Traditional in ThruBlack.
