Why Casey Exteriors Installs CertainTeed Landmark
CertainTeed Landmark is our most popular shingle line. It is an architectural shingle, so it has dimension and depth instead of a flat strip look, and it comes with CertainTeed’s lifetime limited transferable warranty.
Landmark comes in two options. Landmark is a dual-layered design on a fiberglass base. Landmark PRO uses a multi-layer design and carries a longer algae resistance warranty. We help you choose at your estimate.
What CertainTeed Landmark Shingles Offer
Everything below is from CertainTeed’s published product information for Landmark and Landmark PRO.
Fire and impact ratings
UL Class A fire resistance and UL 2218 Class 3 impact resistance. Class 3 is a UL 2218 test rating. It does not mean a shingle cannot be damaged by hail or high wind.
Algae resistance
StreakFighter algae resistance is designed to resist black streaks. The StreakFighter warranty is 25 years on Landmark and 30 years on Landmark PRO.
NailTrak nailing zone
NailTrak marks a clearly defined nailing zone with an extra-wide nailing area, so shingles are fastened accurately, especially on steep slopes.
Wind warranty
A 15-year 110 mph wind-resistance warranty, with an upgrade to 160 mph available. CertainTeed starter and CertainTeed hip and ridge are required.
Lifetime limited warranty
A lifetime limited transferable warranty, plus 10-year SureStart protection. Warranty terms have conditions, so we go over them with you.
Colors
A wide range of colors, including the Max Def color palette on Landmark PRO. Colors vary by region, and we show you what is available.
